The "gestapo" as you so rudely refer to us are now very irritated by your constant rude, sarcastic and ignortant attitude. Be warned now that if you persist with this attitude then I will personally suspend your account forthwith. We do not need, or put up with, trolls and trouble makers such as yourself.

Well the mail seems to be up & running, as I received 40 mails from the last three days overnight. Even received one from Thursday this morning, so I wonder if I have lost any important mail, or that the waifs & strays will keep appearing. I wonder if I have lost any, but I suppose only time will tell.

Hopefully we will not experience a bad outage like this in the future, as I have been with NTL for 6 years and cannot remember a problem like this.

Well I've definately lost some mails. Some i sent myself from work havent arrived, but ones i sent later on yesterday have arrived ok. :(

All seems back to normal now, I would say I have lost no emails: the frustration at the time was dire but there seems to have been no lasting damage ... let's hope w do not meet such a sticky patch again. I have been with NTL for > 5 years now, and apart from horrors when the old net.ntl.com domain email server started to fall apart a year or so ago, prompting me to have my address moved to ntlworld, I'd say the recent failure has been a one-off.

It has been a bit of a nightmare over the past few days but finally we seem to be back up and working... for now :rolleyes:

Let's hope that we will not have a repeat of this recent hassle - I wonder how many peple have actually left NTL as a result of the recent inconvenience - I am looking for an alternative as we speak...:p::rolleyes::td:
