Virgin Media Shorts films shortlist announced

Virgin Media believe in giving raw talent an opportunity and to support this, every year a shortlist of 12 films will be selected by their panel of curators and screened in UK cinemas for a year. And for the first time ever this year, they are opening up a 13th spot for the entry that’s shared online the most.
The Grand Prize winner will walk away with £30,000 funding to make their next film, as well as with mentoring from the UK’s leading film body, the British Film Institute.
The successful films who have been shortlisted has been announced, and all 13 films are available for you to watch, and vote for.
You can help crown the People’s Choice Award winner by watching the shortlisted films and voting for your favourite, either on VM’s Facebook page or by tweeting the film’s name with #VMShortsVote.
