Pathetic is the word that springs to mind.

Re: New army recruitment campaign

Seems fine to me? It's got the attention they desire after all.

I think they're using the negative stereotypes 'snowflakes' ironically, intentionally subverting them because after all these are people who'll be in the army.

Seems fine until you scratch the surface and find thanks to crapita army recruitment Is 30% under target and has been for each of the 6 years they have been in charge of it, 47% of recruits drop out between the successful interview stage and starting basic training, largely due to the outrageous delays in processing applications and this is their answer?

I think your criticisms are relevant to Capita but not the new advertising campaign which is not trying to solve the previously poor admin from Capita. I would hope that the Government is addressing this point too
As Damien has said, the advertising campaign has raised awareness. The question is: can it convert awareness into strong applications. Time will tell and only then can we judge the effectiveness of the advertising.

Some would say sort the process out before launching a new campaign, they may have but going on past experience of crapita, I doubt it

Hopefully, the Government has sorted the Capita situation out before launching the campaign.

Seeing as though modern conflict is already thankfully moving away from bodies and bullets......
