We reuse a plastic "soup" container for fat/oils (after cooled a bit but they can take a fair bit of heat). Once it's full we put it in the bin.
Article is aimed more at US with rubbish disposal units in sinks more common.
Milk, don't waste much, normally runs out before expires.
Pasta water - doesn't everyone use some in the sauce?
Meat trimmings - in bin unless it's more substantial, then make stock or freeze until have enough for stock/mince etc.
Egg shells - bin, compost isn't good enough to break them down
Coffee grounds - compost
Potato peelings - compost
Seeds etc - compost
Bones, stickers etc - bin
Veg - compost
