cheers for this. what do you think would be better? in the v6 or in the audio out on the tv?

Try both locations, see which one is easier to fit and whether there is a a difference in the audio. e.g. a delay. It may make no difference either way.

got one...syncs up perfectly via my tv with the white and red wire. easy to switch on and link with the headphones within seconds.

So cheers for the advice! i can finally watch tv and hear the sound without waking the house up!
