Yes, I tried live chat and was told for new subscribers only, same as Sky UHD when that came along last year.

Re: Streaming services news, offers and general chit chat
After a long discussion this morning with Virgin Media, it has been confirmed to me that Virgin Media head office has stated that this offer is available to existing customers on eligible plans. Unfortunately at this time the Virgin Media agents do not have the tools on their systems to enable this. It is being worked on today by their tech guys. I am booked in for a call back later this afternoon when hopefully the systems have been updated. It will require a new 18 month contract term from what I understand.

I had a lengthy session on chat with them last night. The offshore call centres don't seem to have access to this but she transferred me to the O2 Volt team who set it up for me. Nothing was mentioned about a new contract. It seems that it depends who you speak to. I spoke with retentions this morning and we spoke about this. They only found out about its existence yesterday.

Re: Streaming services news, offers and general chit chat
Starzplay currently has an offer of £1:99 a month for 6 months
I got this offer from one of the few ads that gets through my ad blocker on Facebook but I believe if you just go to their homepage you can get it.

Great find mate, if you purchase this on a laptop does it give you access to your TV too because it's still showing as £4.99 per month if you try and upgrade via your Virgin TV, as the Starzplay isn't showing as an app but shows as a box set addition. Thx

Re: Streaming services news, offers and general chit chat
It is £1.99pm for 6 months on Amazon Prime as well as the website. The Amazon offer shows up in the Amazon app on the V6.

Re: Streaming services news, offers and general chit chat
I noticed StarzPlay is showing as £5.99pm on the channels on the Apple TV app, The £1.99pm offer isn't available on that either.

It will work on the Starzplay app on many devices but the Starzplay add on via virgin is totally separate and is not included in the offer.

Re: Streaming services news, offers and general chit chat
I think there was an offer for VM subscribers which ended recently - but I'm not 100% sure as I didn't take it.

I believe this gives you access to Starzplays various standalone apps and its website,
for example I can view its content either directly on their website or via their apps on my Fire tv stick and my Roku (plus my Android phone and tablet).
If you sub via Amazon Channels you can only view via Amazon Prime Video, I think the same may apply for subbing via Apple and their conduits.
I do not have any type of tv sub from VM anymore so I'm unable to test or confirm how this sub works on their system.

Yeah, I saw that, but that means paying for prime too.

Prime is pretty good value, though. It’s half the price of Netflix and offers both original and archive streaming, free and subscription streaming channels and free delivery on Prime products.
It’s better value than Disney + - but hey, horses for courses…
