Re: What have you just bought?
Picked myself up another Ubiquiti Switch Flex Mini.
These are tiny and for the price are great. They do VLANS too and can be easily adopted into your Unifi controller.

Re: What have you just bought?
So my beloved BMW 325 convertible finally gave up the ghost the other week - I probably used the indicators far too much and she wasn’t used to it. Either way I was gutted as she was by far the best car I’d had although I won’t miss getting my head sunburned when I’d have the top down for too long…
Anyway I replaced it with a Mondeo 2.2 TDCI Titanium X Diesel. First time I’ve ever owned a diesel and yesterday I took it to pick my son up so had a good long drive. Really impressed with it so far, it has quite a few gadgets the Beemer didn’t have and although it’s 20 BHP less you wouldn’t know it. Still trying to figure out what a lots of the gadgets do…
One of the best thing is the crazy boot space. In the Beemer I’d really struggle to get my son’s bike in it, most of the time I couldn’t get it in so it would have to go on the back seat with the roof down.
With the Mondeo it fits right in with loads of space to spare.
Happy Russ now…

Nice one Russ. Our Rover 25 is 20 years old, we've had it 18 years, and it is going through it's MOT Tuesday, keep fingers crossed. Hope it will see us through for yet another year.

A portable nebulizer and saline refills. Unfortunately I don't feel any benefit from using it, maybe you have to use it on a regular basis, who knows?

I like my 16 plate Mondeo estate except for the headlights that are awful. And you have to take the front of the car off to change the bulbs. If there were an easy and legal way to upgrade that didn't cost the earth I would. Reluctant to try the brighter bulbs as they have shorter life and as I said, changing headlight bulb is not a side of the road job. My old Escort was about right, couple of clips, pull the bulb out, change, push back in and tighten clips.
Also the 16 plate just missed the upgrade to Sync3 on the audio platform but Sync2 is OK.

Picked up a solid oak shelf for £10 off Facebook Marketplace. Huge heavy piece of oak.
Absolute bargain!

Re: What have you just bought?
1x 1TB WD Black PCIe Gen 4.0 Nvme and 2TB Crucial P3 Gen 4.0 Nvme ordered for new build that will happen at some point. (using this years cost of living payments to buy me the upgrade)
Had to order now cuz it gets me The Last of US Part 1 free which is £35 and seeing as I would be buying these SSDs at some point I may as well take advantage of the offer (interest free paypal credit)
My logic is (although I know I do not need to justify it) the cost of living payment will be frittered away on takeaways and more expensive shopping than I normally buy so by the end of the year there will be nothing to show for it. Upgrading my PC with it will give me long term pleasure seeing as I spend most my life entertaining myself online

Re: What have you just bought?
I ordered a Dyson Corded Hoover, as I read they were fantastic and quite light £280 from Argos Store, When we took it back to the house and found it was too heavy to push along the carpet , We took it back the next day to get another make, and they said I am sorry you have used it I cannot take it back. I said I had to push it on the carpet to try it, But no way would they take it back, I phoned Argos on line and complained , they said if you had bought it on line we could have taken it back, But if the store said No we can do nothing about it, , So it was £280 down the drain, I ended up giving it to my granddaughter and I am back to my old Botch hoover cleaned out with new brushes, Be careful when buying from Argos,

Re: What have you just bought?
Since getting a Dyson V10 Absolute cordless from their refurbished eBay outlet I could never go back to a heavy corded one, so very quick hoovering now with no hassle and superlight weight.

Re: What have you just bought?
Our lad loves Snot Poodles, so he was happy that I bought 2 trays of 12 for him at Farm Foods. £4.99 each, so 42p each instead of £1.20.
