I'm going to attempt a very rare Silverside, it's normally a slow-cook cut, but the twins don't like it pot roasted... they like BLOOD....

I've got a nice pork shoulder joint on with a five spice rub on the crackling.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
My youngest son's friend from England thinks it's hysterical when she is here staying with her grandparents for the summer holidays and I ask them if they would like a piece, when she was younger she asked what a piece was and when I told her she said Oh you mean a sandwich

Re: What are you eating now thread?
Not to good tbh nash but getting there thank you, I just wish I could get the sickness under control but the trouble with the meds is that they make me very drowsy and that is no good when you have a young one who needs driven to school.

Re: What are you eating now thread?
EatLeeds restaurant week at a lot of restaurants in Leeds.
Tonight we went to Cau (an Argentinian Steak restaurant in the Victoria Gate, opposite John Lewis), and had Salt and Onion Flatbreads, Rump Steak with chips, and caramel crepe with vanilla ice cream, with a glass of prosecco, for £15 per head - bargain!
And excellent quality, too.
