Older generation to turn in to Vampires.
I kid you not, there's a lot of people who still believe everything printed in The Sun. Yes both you and I know it's BS just look how the limited study has been turned into something different entirely.
"The research showed young blood could allow humans to live a life free of diseases such as cancer and heart disease right up until their deaths"
What a stupid statement.
Make your own mind up, here's the report.

Re: Older generation to turn in to Vampires.
This is not a new idea. Heinlein suggested it as a rejuvenation technique in Methuselah's Children, though he proposed growing new blood in vitro - which is surely possible and probably a better idea than donation as the blood would be guaranteed pure. But it's not true vampirism as the blood would be injected, not drunk.

Re: Older generation to turn in to Vampires.
I would rather the money had been ploughed into Stem Cell Research which seems far more ethical and is already showing clinically proven advances in the control of conditions which can effect all age groups and not just those trying to hold back time. However i guess The Sun wouldn't be able to use such a silly attention grabbing headline for such a grown-up subject.

Re: Older generation to turn in to Vampires.
I know quite a few vampire pensioners. Mostly due to lack of sunlight and adequate diet they are pale and weak. But they say they have to money to go anywhere, and don't want to let what little heat they have out of the door.
I've donated daylight LED lamps to a few, and I now our local GP has advised them to take Vit D supplements.
But no blood-letting as yet....

That would be interesting - where would they print page 4 (or the other pages on the other side of fold)?
Or is it like those old manuals
