Sky April price increases
Here's what's changing from 1 April, according to Sky:
- Sky Entertainment is increasing by £2/month from £20 to £22 if you're in contract, and from £25 to £27 if you're out of contract.
- Sky Cinema is increasing by £1/month from £10 to £11 if you're out of contract (if you're in contract, it won't increase).
- Sky Broadband will increase by £1/month, across all packages (for those both in and out of contract).
- Sky Fibre Broadband will increase by £2/month across all packages (for those both in and out of contract).
- Sky Q Multiscreen is increasing by £1/month from £12 to £13.
- Sky Talk Evening and Weekends will increase by £1/month from £4 to £5.
- Sky Talk Anytime will increase by £2/month from £8 to £10.

Re: Sky April price increases
With Ultimate On Demand increasing by 20% in a matter of months since launch I'm hoping they add more content.

Re: Sky April price increases
Got my letter outlining all the increases. My bill is going up by £7 so going to phone them and say I am unhappy and want to cancel. Hopefully I will be offered a discount.

Re: Sky April price increases
I'm still in contract but I believe you can cancel if there is a price increase without being charged?
I'm going to fight for a better deal too.

Spot on. My email even confirmed that you can leave within 30 days of the increase notice.

You can leave Sky broadband and phone whilst in contract but not the TV.

Re: Sky April price increases
Yes you can only cancel TV if your price for it increases by 10% or more.
Still worth giving them a ring though there may be a cheaper package or a deal they can do you.
