Re: New Ford Cars
I tried to plug a hub into my USB port, but it came on the Sync 3 screen, that hubs are not supported.

Re: New Ford Cars
I have a 16 plate Mondeo so just missed the upgrade to Sync 3. Some later models have 2 USB ports, mine only one but I get CD player too.
Where I like the USB even more now is that I can put all my music on one stick, converting FLAC to MP3, and then have playlists. I used to have 3 sticks, one general, one Christmas and one with sermons I use on solo journeys. I'd swap as needed. Now I can just play the relevant playlist without needing to change stick. The USB ports in Mondeo are in the centre arm rest so nicely hidden away.

Re: New Ford Cars
FLAC is way better than MP3

Not if your "player" doesn't do FLAC.
I did rip some CD's to FLAC but they took so much more space.

Yeah it is.
MP3 is roughly 10 meg a minute.
FLAC is around 90meg.
Well worth it though, 128GB flash drives are getting cheap.
