Lips out of synch on play back

Has anyone else had this problem?

You watch a recorded program, fast forward through the ads, and suddenly lips are out of synch.
If I rewind at full speed then fast forward at full speed I can eventually get them synched again.
This has happened with 2 boxes, am I alone or is it a known problem?

Try rebooting your boxes. Are they Amstrads by any chance?
