Do you count V6 as a Tivo?
If so my V6 turn itself completely off twice within the last 24 hours. Wasn't watching anything it was on standby, when I came to turn it on it has not lights, I had to pull the power off and on to restart it.
If V6 do not count as a Tivo please accept my apologies and ignore my post.

Did anything ever come of this? Or was it resolved in a (regular?) update cycle..

I suspect it was fixed at the TiVo servers. It didn't require a software update on the boxes.
