Hulk Hogan started the show by dropping the WW"F" bomb followed by getting the venue name wrong twice. The fans quickly told him he'd f'd up

As expected Austin interrupted Hogan, had a little fun with Hogan getting the venue name wrong, then bounced a bit of mutual respect around.

Unexpectedly The Rock hit the ring and an all out love in broke out followed by beers all round.

Somewhat cheesy however the fans loved it and admittedly I found it fun too.

Time for HHH to hit the ring in what can only be described as a Game of Thrones inspired entrance. It truly is WrestleMania!

Great reception from the fans when Bryan came to the ring.

A decent opening match. Methodical, back and forth with plenty of near falls.

Bryan picked up the win.

Stephanie looking as hot as ever!

Cesaro wins the Battle Royal by body-slamming the Big Show over the top rope. Not the best Battle Royal but plenty of fun spots throughout. That is one big crap looking trophy.

Total and utter shock. The streak is over!!!!! Lesnar wins. The fans don't know what to do. Their faces are incredible.

New age outlaws, billy Gunn and road dog? They must be over 100 combined now! Didn't watch it, only looked at this thread to see if the stinger made an appearance, glad he didn't.

Well that was strange. Maybe it wasn't picked up properly on TV but the Undertaker didn't get the adulation I thought he was going to get. Maybe the crowd where still in shock. The Undertaker left the ring looking like and old man. I thought he deserved a much better send off. The match itself was pretty poor.

Besides Dbry and HHH, every match thus far has been dismal. They handed the streak to an ass like Lesnar? Come on. Reigns, Bryan.. There's a whole bunch of names better than that UFC reject. How they got Taker to ever agree to this I'll never know. It's a perfect example of the direction WWE is heading. CM punk looks totally justified after an ending like that.

What did you think about the fan reaction when Taker was in the ring on his own at the end?

I can't see the main event finishing without interference. The way the show has gone, the fans deserve to see Bryan win cleanly. I still can't believe the whole Undertaker thing. It was a poor fight that made Undertaker look like a tired old man. High didn't go out on a high.

The undertaker is a tired beaten up old man but he's a legend and a genuine icon, can't see the point of giving lesner the win, it's not like he needed it, is there no one up and coming that could've made use of the push.

Funny you should mention the pin being a shoot. When I was watching it live I thought for a brief moment it was a shoot pin but quickly dismissed the notion. 21-1 was being displayed in the arena on the screens way too quickly for it to be a shoot.

Nah definitely not a shoot. Just bogus claims. There was no attempt to kick out at 2 or even close after 3. Desperate attempts by fans to turn this into a conspiracy by now saying it was Undertaker that broke the script.

Reality is simple though, just another awful decision in a long line of them at WWE. Batista winning the rumble and so forth. I think I'll get the best Raw of the year out of the way then call it that for me. Found myself skipping raw for weeks and just reading up on it, WM quickly reminded me why. It's gotten to the point in which a Cena heel turn wouldn't sway anyone. Daniel Bryan was all that stood out on the 30th anniversary. One man and two matches out of a 30th PPV? Sort it out. Lazy, non creative and at times hopeless.

I'd love to see an OOC interview with both Brock Lesnar and Mark Callaway right now to figure out who came up with such an idea and whom agreed or pushed the other into it. I've been critical of the match idea since it leaked, Lesnar is useless, his German Suplex's were an awful sight mixed with the typical fake MMA bs which has no place in WWE.

Side note: Did anyone else notice the camera and microphone being so close you could hear most moves being called out in every match? Cena pretty much shouted reverse sleeper to the point the entire arena heard it.

I had the volume down low, not to wake my wife, but I certainly heard moves being called. Sloppy

Seen reports that Taker was taken to hospital after the match, accompanied by Lesnar and Vince with concussion like symptoms. Almost a certainty that tonight on RAW he comes out and retires, we have a Flair like send off and he is announced as the first inductee into the HoF for 2015.

Just waiting to see how hyped the crowd is tonight, and to see what the Authority does tonight to screw D Bry over.

Awful awful awful ending to Taker's match. OK good on WWE for swerving us but that doesn't mean it's always going to be a good thing. Taker should have either retired undefeated or lost the streak to some up-and-coming star who would have used the win to propel them on to a massive stage, not some part-time wrestler who has been established for about a decade.

With the current roster the only 2 I can think of who would have been right to end the streak would be Bray Wyatt or Roman Reigns.

Man there are so many people on the internet clinging to the notion that Brocks win was a shoot. In a weird way what happened last night is good for business.

Thanks to the internet fans are more clued up than ever in regards to the inner workings of the business. Everyone knows the score. As a result wrestling will never again generate the heat it did back in the 70's and 80's. However every now and then something happens that makes even some of the most learned fans forget what they know and have them questioning if what they witnessed was real or not. The fact that so many people truly believe what they witnessed last night was a shoot is credit to both the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, and may go down as the biggest WrestleMania moment of all time.
