Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
No change on upload on 1Gig, wasn't really expecting it though to be honest!

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
I remember the old days when a free speed increase was like a doubling of up and down, I guess it's got to the point where it is often fast enough now apart from people who want more upload.

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
1gig connection never got 10:1 and really should be getting 96 to 100 meg instead of 47 to 50 meg, I hope they boost the upload since hub 4 is only capable of 960 to 980 meg so they can't boost download speeds, ideall give us the 10:1 ratio it should be plus extra but I doubt it

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
Just rebooted our Hub3 - now 276Mb/s down, 26Mb/s up.

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
Just done this on my parents 100M package, 137 down nd 21 up, that's a very nice boost!
Going over the 10:1 ratio now though

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
Top Tier customers will no doubt get a kick to the balls again, remember the normal double even triple upgrades (for 20Mb/ tier to 60Mb/s) and we got 100>120 then 120>152 then 152 to 200 etc.
They should make the upload 100Mb/s to get back on 10/1 from long ago.

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
Seems like we should get some sort of upload boost on 1Gig but I'm not holding my breath...

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds
Download a file and try and get full speed and see just how much of your 50Mb/s Upload Bandwidth it takes to download at that speed, VM were cutting it fine.

Re: Virgin Boosting Speeds

It would be helpful if you provided your upstream max traffic rate profile.

I'd like to, but unfortunately, on the hub used for business services, there is no way to see the configured max traffic rates.
This is the case on the new Hitron Chita as well as the Hitron CGNV4
