Virgin bills.

Not happy at all. Have been with virgin media for many years, had a few problems with them but nothing like this one. Rang up asking about getting sky sports for 2 weeks. He said it would have to be a month for an extra £31. I said ok and then he said my next payment would be £82 a month. I said I can’t afford that, I don’t want to do it, he said I’d already done it. I said no you should have told me about the £82 a month first. He apologized and said he would get it sorted and ring me back. He didn’t ring me back so I rang again and the man I spoke to said the department had closed for the day. He said he would get it sorted and ring me back again. He didn’t ring back again. I rang back again and spoke to a lady who agreed a new contract for £20 a month for M50 fiber broadband. I then get the contract through but it requested I click on the link confirming my email address. I didn’t get the new email address link. After that I got another contract for £56.75 a month then £61.75and then £93.75. THERE IS NO WAY I AGREED TO THIS CONTRACT WHEN I HAVE ONLY BEEN PAYING £25 FOR THE LAST TWELVE MONTHS AND COULDNT AFFORD THAT ANYWAY. I rang them again and spoke to another lady and asked to speak to the complaints department. She said we don’t have a complaints department, I said what you must have a complaints department. I then said what about a complaints phone number, she said she couldn’t give me a phone number for complaints either. I was sick to death of this. She then said she didn’t have a copy of the contract for £20 month. I read it out to her and she said she understood that but she didn’t have a copy on her system. I then said do you record the messages she said yes but not until the next day. I wasn’t happy as this had caused me so much stress. She never rang me back today so I rang them for the 4th time and had to go through it all with another man. I was on the phone 45 minutes and then I was cut off. I then got another contract for £25 for tv, broadband and phone. It said my next payment would be £82 I’d already told them I couldn’t afford this. With all the technology they have today why couldn’t they just do me a simple contract for £20 a month for just broadband. I’m so sick of this if I will cancel by DD.

Yes, the CS is shite. Always has been.

You need to post this on their official support forum. It's the only way I've found of getting problems resolved.

Re: Virgin bills.

I agree post on the VM official forums. It can take a few days for an Admin to pick up the message but they managed to sort out a billing issue for me when I did and upgrade and it messed up my new contract.

They also discounted my contract that I had just signed up for at £74 a month and reduced it to £61

So give them a try. You'll have to answer some security questions through the private message system they use
