Help Please!!! BT Home Hub2 and network
Hi
Please help
I have a bt home hub 2 (Works Fine) with 3 wireless pc connected, I have also connected a wired link (APROX 25M LONG)to a Work group hub (Linksys) with 2 pc connected but i can only get a speed of 10mbits.
If i directly link to 1 pc i get 100mbits. over the same distance
How can i get the workgroup hub to give the 100mbits ?
The problem is that when both pc's on the hub are using the internet the speed seems very slow (DOES OUR HEAD IN WITH BASIC ONLINE GAMES)

Re: Help Please!!! BT Home Hub2 and network
Perhaps the work group hub is only 10Mb capable, post the model number of the hub please
[moved to networking as it's not an ISP problem]

No
specs for that hub are
* IEEE-802.3 compliant
* Runs at 10 Mbps
* All hubs include uplink ports
* Ready to run with all major network software and hardware
* Easy-to-read LED indicators

Re: Help Please!!! BT Home Hub2 and network
If you replace the hub with a router then it'll conflict with the BT HomeHub as that is a router as well. Just pick up a cheap 5-8 port switch/hub off ebay for about a tenner..
