LG universal remote and 360

Since changing over to 360 the lg universal remote no longer controlled the virgin box

I found a post on the vm forums that said to use ziggo as the box type.
lol and behold this works, however on my second lg tv I’m unable to select ziggo

My question is does ziggo also have another name ?

Thanks in advance

Re: LG universal remote and 360

On my LG NANO TV I can set my LG Smart TV remote up by either selecting Virgin, Ziggo, or by typing in Ziggo Mediabox Next.

The 360 also works with the URC 7125 (One for All) remote

Re: LG universal remote and 360

Not sure if this article may give you a different path to try to find a solution but the Ziggo boxes seem to be made by Arris or Humax and there are some minimal differences.

I have tried to find any alternative names for the Ziggo box but the only thing I have been able to find is that, as my link also shows, it is referred to as Mediabox Next (Arris) and as the Media box Next (Humax)..

Re: LG universal remote and 360

Sorry, I can only confirm that I have my LG smart remote (AK87585501) set up as Ziggo and it's working perhaps we have different remotes or webOS's.

When setting mine up it initially it finds Virgin (North East), however if I click on View More and on the next screen move the cursor into the search bar I can type in Ziggo, on the next screen i highlight Ziggo and click on Next, it then accepts my choice and allows me to test changing a channel and can then be saved
