I walked to the GP surgery for mine. There and back in 20 minutes.

No effects as yet, but I didn't react to the first one either.

Re: Cable Forum Vaccinations

Had my 2nd AV jab this afternoon. Just hoping I don’t get the aches/chills like the first one and I can get to the gym in the morning.

Re: Cable Forum Vaccinations

So 24 hours after my 2nd jab and no side effects other than my shoulder feels bruised (to be expected) and probably won't be helped by me going back to the gym tomorrow but that's my own problem.

Hope this is of some help to anyone worried about the AZ side effects....

Our twins have been called for their seconds jabs next week. No driving for miles across the city this time. They are being jabbed in Tesco 200 yards away!

Had it the other day. I had Moderna. After I was a little light headed and sweated a little. I was fine after about 10 mins though, it may of just been cause I don't do needles and haven't had one in 16 years.

2nd Astra shot an hour ago.

Already the horrible metallic taste is back. my arms feels 'dead' and I'm shattered

However, if that's the worst of it I'll be fine.

Re: Cable Forum Vaccinations

I should have had my second Pfizer jab in April but I had to postpone it because at the time I was in hospital having a Pacemaker fitted.

Finally had the injection yesterday. Very easy to book online for Nottingham Forest Recreation Ground. The centre was extremely busy but, unlike for my first jab (queued in bitter cold for 90 minutes), all was very efficient and, as before, the staff were brilliant. In fact, as everybody except me was a youngster, from when I hobbled in on my walking stick I enjoyed VIP treatment.

No ill effects.

Re: Cable Forum Vaccinations

And let’s face it, you don’t often have much to cheer about after standing in the bitter cold for 90 minutes at Nottingham Forest.

All over-18s in England will be offered a first dose of a coronavirus vaccine by the end of this week, Downing Street has confirmed.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson's spokesman told reporters all adults would be able to get a jab "from the end of this week" following an announcement by the chief executive of NHS England Sir Simon Stevens, who said a new treatment for infected people is also set to be available soon.
