I hope this helps someone.

Excellent answer to my problem. The VS2000 phone manual works perfectly with NTL phone [D5100]. Thank you for your help.

Just so you're aware the two threads you've answered concerning these phones are both 2+ years old with most of the members concerned now down as inactive.

Re: Ntl Phone d5100 Instructions
Can anyone tell me how to disable the caller ID withheld function, please?
I set my ntl d5100 handset to withhold my number when I first got it years ago. It's no longer a very helpful feature and makes it difficult with friends and family who screen out caller ID withheld.
Not sure what happened to the instruction manual and tried going through everything on the menu but couldn't find anything that would change it.
I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

I think you dial 1470 before you dial to reveal your number.
If you want to switch it off permanately you have to phone VM and get them to disable it.
I think.

When the thread was started, there weren't separate TV and Phone sections.

Ah. Thanks, John. That explains why I can't see anything in the menu then.
