pixilation

2X V6 now seriously going pixilated. Used to just be C4 , C5, and sky sports. Is it the box or the line ?
I just got new boxes last year due to dead HDD's and lost all my saved stuff. would hate for that again so soon.....
Any help appreciated...

Re: pixilation

It's the signal on the cable. Make sure all the connectors are tight. If that doesn't fix it, you'll need a technician visit.

Re: pixilation

The thick cables often get kinked behind the box and can cause damage.
May be worth wiggling the cable to see if that cause a change - may just then need to repace the white link cable.

sinbad said two boxes are doing it, so if it's a damaged cable it must be before the splitter. Not that I'd recommend DIY cable replacement anyway.

Re: pixilation

I didn't notice the 2x bit :-)

Still worth a wiggle along the cable run I think as it may highlight a weak connection along the line - and may save some time if a visit is needed.

When I had a similar problem the engineer moved my up the priority ladder in the street box.

When the problem re-surfaced a second engineer installed a booster at my end

Re: pixilation

Signal tweak or re pull if that doesn't fix it is my guess, your boxes are not the issue seeing you have issues on both.
