Why is Virgin Mobile charged seperate to Virgin Media bill?

I have been a Virgin Mobile customer since January My partner just coming to the end of her contract. I have wondered why the mobile bill cant be charged on with the main broadband phone and tv package. Why is it separate we get 1 virgin media ebill then 2 virgin mobile bills. It is all the same company surely virgin media could save money if was all billed from the same place.

Separate company, same with Virgin.net.

Virgin.net is not a seperate company, nor is Virgin Mobile.

It is purely down to the computer systems used

All the fixed services are on one system (this now includes Virgin.net/Beyond Cable/ADSL) and the mobile is on another

As it has just taken two years at least (and then probably another two before that for telewest) to get everyone on fixed services onto a single system. I don't think they wan't to worry about it for a bit
