How do I find out what ISP I'm using?

Would my device be able to show what ISP I'm using? Would this tell me the speed too?

The speed testing website Speedtest will do both of those. Other similar websites might do the same.

well it will tell you what speed to get too and from the particular server it connects too. But good enough

Remember, it also depends on how the what the device doing the speed test and how it is connected.

For instance, an old phone doing a speed test in a different room is likely to give a lower speed than a PC connected by a network cable to the router.

You may be able to access the routers config pages and it may well tell you the speed config in there.

It won't tell you the maximum speed you might get. That is down to the configuration settings of the modem.

Re: How do I find out what ISP I'm using?

If your router/modem is enabled using SamKnows RealSpeed will show you the speed from the router/modem and also to your device. It's very useful for seeing if that jerky movie is the fault of the service or within your property.
