Simply pointing out it was fine for me.
And I'm simply pointing out that you have a 350mb connection :-)

Re: UHD on Virgin Media

The PQ on my tv for UHD has been amazing, far superior to HD.

I really notice it when turning off the iPlayer and switching back to the hd channel. It looks horrible lol

If it shows Blue Planet instead of the football, your TV doesn't support WCG/BT.2020. Go through the checklist here:

Interesting question, but I would think so, as coverage will be on different channels.

However, there could be technical problems with capacity issues, I guess.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media

I suspect Wimbledon is easier as the BBC are the broadcaster and won’t have to convert the HDR format to HLG as they are having to do for the World Cup.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media

The BBC are not the broadcaster anymore for Wimbledon. It is being broadcast in house and hence the Eurosport showing i assume.

The UHD FA Cup loop is still available whilst the World Cup UHD is on. So it is possible. Another test of the systems.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media

Wimbledon coverage will be interesting. Will it be a feed from Centre Court on iPlayer, or will the entire BBC1 coverage be in UHD?
