Naw, I have threatened John with Gaffer tape in the past, mainly when he's sat in the passenger seat and I do have a roll in the car, but doubt he would stay still long enough for me to use clingfilm to shut him up........ and no one would ever, ever dare to do anything to my shoes.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates - Part 8
The AA, what an absolute joke, complete shower, broke down 03:30 on the M25 near M1 turn off, phoned AA they were there in half hour, was so impressed I thought about increasing my sub that I'd said I wanted brought down at renewal at then end of the month and then the BS began, we're not taking you home we are taking you to South Mimms, get there for four the guys waiting, not so bad I think but then he starts trying to fix it, told him the alternator had gone and could he just recover it but no he's got to try thought fine he'll be done and I'll be home by five and the the real BS started as he gets in his tow truck and says to me see you later, I said no I've got recovery and he said I know but I'm only here to fix it not recover, well why have you got a recovery truck then, he tells me to phone the office but he'd escalated it to recovery ring them up and they tell me the ETA is 07:20 asked them to explain why they've done this and they pretty much couldn't, cancelled my direct debit and told them to shove it, 4 hours after breaking down they're going to recover me after having already sent two tow trucks then we've got the drive through London to endure and to really add a cherry on top of the brown cake they've abandoned me in a lorry Park that charges £7.50 an hour

Re: Moans and Pet Hates - Part 8
Of all the things the wife could watch on TV tonight, she chose to avidly watch some Z list celebs jumping into freezing water (BBC 1)
To be honest, at this time I'm not sure if I'm moaning at the crap show or my brain dead wife watching it

You shouldn’t knock her taste in what she likes - she married you…

If it wasn't for face book and bad tv you may have to actually talk to each other, don't think i could handle that

Got some by "Bacofoil" really nice, slides off the roll a treat and doesn't get tangled up but still clings when needed.

The Men's Shed I go to had the storage shed we have, has been broken into, a neighbour is keeping an eye out told us.
As I live 5 minutes from it, I was able to do a temporary repair.
Luckily it is current empty, and it is planned to only store wood and materials in it.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates - Part 8
An hour at Manchester Airport this morning, came away over £30 lighter - 3 bottles of water at £2.59 each and parking for 2 cars at £12 each. Shocking, I really don't know how they can justify charging so much.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates - Part 8
I assume it means no extra cost to them
anyway, isn't 100% renewable energy a myth considering the energy used in building and maintaining the infrastructure used to harness, store and distribute it?
