Well of course if that was the big sports news of the day then that's what they would have been covering as it was a big story.
Motherwell haven't got much to be in the news for, so no wonder they weren't talking about them.

Even though I have no Scottish connections Queen of the South used to be the team I looked out for in 'Final Score'. Just liked the name !
Also kept waiting for Forfar 4 East Fife 5, but it never happened

You will almost certainly get more Rangers coverage on STV than BBC Scotland, mainly because BBC Scotland have an ongoing dispute with Rangers and provide the minimum cover possible.

ITV have an agreement with VM (which has just been renewed). I assume STV also have an agreement with VM. More than likely if coverage was expanded there would be financial implications for doing so. As the BBC is licence funded there are less issues with carrying out of area content.
