gps location problem

hi there how can i get my blackberry curve to stop say gps update failed when i try to refresh my gps settings

Sorry about the late response. Here are a few things that it could be:

1 - If it it the first time that you have used the GPS it can take up to 10 mins for to triangulate.

2 - Have you tried a battery pull ( when the handset is on remove the battery and the sim for a min and then put back in and wait for the handset to reboot )

3 - If it is cloudy it may not work or may take longer to triangulate.
