Discount price on sky HD

I'm moving in two weeks but all the half price HD box offers seem to have dried up. Does anyone know where I can get info on deals like this?

Re: Discount price on sky HD

I don't have any inside info, but I'm hanging on for FreeSat to launch (with free HD channels) to see what Sky do then. I don't mind paying for a box, but I onject to £10 a month for only a frew HD channels that I will watch anyway.

all of the free channels on Freesat will also be on Sky as they use the same satellites.

Re: Discount price on sky HD

That may be true, but you cannot get the any HD channels out of a Sky HD box without their £10 per month HD subscription.

Although saying that, since writing my original post, the current (pre-launch) line-up only includes BBC HD - but is widely expected to include HD channels from ITV, C4 and C5 at a later date.
