To me it shows that MCAs involving firearms and lone shooters generally don't have some deep seated underlying cause / ideology behind it so the spouses / partners are not all willing to die for it as it is not some cult.

I.e the Manson girls got involved, but all because they were subservient to Charles...does that make sense?

Short of brainwashing, most women don't get into this kind of stuff. (Again, this is an oversimplification, some).
