I am cooking a chicken.
Not a big thing, you might think, but I normally buy either a pre-cooked one from the butcher, or just pre-packed chicken breasts or whatever.
This is the first time I have ever tried cooking one from scratch.

Not difficult Carl. 25 minutes per 1/2 kilo and 25 over. 180 C. Rest it covered in foil for 10 mins after cooking

Yes. I know it's not difficult in theory, but this was my first time in practise. I live on my own and now have enough Chicken for about a week (Okay, a slight exaggeration, but not by much )

I'm glad it went well Carl. When I lived alone it was always an effort cooking properly just for myself. Not much incentive really. Hope you enjoy it

I always do my own cooling, every night. Don't do takeaways or "fast food" of any sort.

Just finished eating Roast Lamb with Garlic, Roast Tatties done in beef dripping, Baby Carrots, Peas, Fried cabbage and onion cooked high heat in butter and yorkshire puds.
Mint sauce and Horseradish sauce as required.
