Re: What are you eating now thread?

I am cooking a chicken.

Not a big thing, you might think, but I normally buy either a pre-cooked one from the butcher, or just pre-packed chicken breasts or whatever.

This is the first time I have ever tried cooking one from scratch.

Not difficult Carl. 25 minutes per 1/2 kilo and 25 over. 180 C. Rest it covered in foil for 10 mins after cooking

Before explaining cooking times you really should ask first if it's dead and been plucked

Yes. I know it's not difficult in theory, but this was my first time in practise. I live on my own and now have enough Chicken for about a week (Okay, a slight exaggeration, but not by much )

I'm glad it went well Carl. When I lived alone it was always an effort cooking properly just for myself. Not much incentive really. Hope you enjoy it

Re: What are you eating now thread?

I did indeed enjoy. Got a lovely pair of breasts out of it

I always do my own cooling, every night. Don't do takeaways or "fast food" of any sort.
