Weird, 2s average ping to bbc and .5s ping to TBB yet the websites, youtube and various others are all working fine including other protocols like usernet, P2P..etc..

Strange. Maybe you're just used to slow browsing on VM?

Does Sky Fibre use DLM, I see your line shows a nice dip in minimum latency after an outage and just wondered.

Yeah it does, and that wasnt an outage, just that my DDWRT router has to re-establish a connection. Its to do with the MAC encapsulated routing which makes it take longer to connect, otherwise there would hardly be any packet loss
Its a nice drop though - sub 10ms ping with no jitter

I don't think there's any option for any provider using Openreach FTTC to turn off DLM completely, yet.

Cheers craig/qas, I was just being nosey ,,,,,,I wish I was brave enough to have a go at hacking this rather pants Sagemcom paper weight but it'll just end in tears I know it, and a bricked router probably

Re: Think Broadband Ping Monitor Results (POST YOURS)
you dont have to do anything to the router itself, just type in the number from the sticker on the bottom into a website. No chance of a bricked router
