Personally, I would have gone for Scarlett Johansson, or Reiko Aylesworth, or Elisha Cuthbert or....heck all three of them at the same time....hmmm..urm, where was I - erm, yes, well done Virgin Media.

I assume she'll be the leading person in any TV adverts, newspaper adverts, poster campaigns....maybe she'll be at the launch party?

Without a doubt. Its very personal. especially as Richard Branson had something to do with British Satellite Broadcasting before it merged with Sky

Re: Virgin Media's advertising campaign: Starring Uma Thurman
Uma is being paid well to promote Virgin Media - as in, $36 million!!!!
From EarthTimes.Org: ( http://www.earthtimes.org/articles/show/23001.html)
Quote:
Uma Thurman is the new mascot of Virgin Media after she signed a $36 million deal to promote the company. Thurman joins Kate Moss and Pamela Anderson in the list of beauties roped in by Virgin to promote its products.
.....Thurman will be extensively associated with NTL's £20 million campaign to rebrand itself as Virgin Media. The company will be offering "quadruple play" meaning that mobile phones and broadband as well as fixed-line phone and TV will be available from a single brand.
|
Hell, I'd promote it for £36,000! .....hey Virgin - how about spending some of that cash on.....gee, I dunno - more HD content?!??
