I have Full House Sports but don't have the Sky Sports HD channels, how do I add these? I can't find anything in My Offers & Upgrades

No they could have dropped the price immediately they chose not to do so.

Why should Virgin's Sky Sports customers pay extra when sky's own sports customers will not?

Are premier sports 2(sd) and freesports(sd)
permanent channels?.Premier sports 1(hd)is only a 2 month free trial if i read correctly

I believe ps2 is also only free for the 2 months.

Freesports is a permanent addition.
