Just like my parents going to B&M's the other day as they had exactly the same plan but they ended up with a overfilled trolley which struggled to make it to the till.

Ah! The good old £100 shop for a packet of batteries. Costco is great at parting you from your money. It's the "shelf discount" (not in voucher books) that get you.

Clip on pannier bags and new - supposedly- warm cycling gloves. The gloves are not warm.
Knee length ski socks - those ARE warm, maybe I should wear them on my hands....
