Flu jab for the lad. £9 in Tesco. Nipped into ASDA later where I saw it is only £5!!

Our GP has set aside just TWO 2 hour sessions for flu jabs. For a large area with lot of eligible people (OAPs, diabetic, Carers, etc.)
The lad does not fall into any of the groups for a free jab.

I don't need a flu-jab but, as with travel vaccinations which I have had, it always just seems easier to me to go into Boots and pay for it. You can do it in your lunch break, at weekends, less waiting time etc.
