Re: Mario Party 8

Yep, my nipper got it as an early birthday present from his uncle... played it for the first time today.

First feelings on this are.... well, it's a Mario Party game, so you get what you'd expect. It's very pretty - although not as good as Mario Galaxy & Metroid Prime 3 look to be. The mini games we've played so far are pretty good, most use the Wiimote's motion sensing although some just use it turned on it's side with the d-pad like a traditional controller. The ones we've played are fun.

However, it's definitely a game for youngsters. Whereas my mates have played Rayman and enjoyed it, I don't think they'll be playing this one.
