Sadly there is not a thread on knife crime (knife murder) as it should be called on this forum yet. Bring back the death penalty I say or just shoot the perpetrators who are lower life forms.

You can’t. The horse has well and truly bolted.

That said, I think Trump could, as Obama could, make some gestures in regards to limiting the likes of automatic weapons with high round magazines.

It won’t change anythingin reality, but it would be symbolic and could be the start of encouraging a different mindset. Changing gun laws US will be a generational movement.

A knife when used as a weapon can be solely destined to kill, as is the current unwelcome trend in London.
A mad man with a knife might kill 2-3 people and can be overpowered. A madman with a automatic or semi-automatic weapon can kill dozens or more and no one would get near.

That said the current issue in London, and U.K. as a whole, is a disgrace. The Mayor of London is a disgrace. Stop and Search works. If the black community feel they are targeted more than anyone else then i’m Afraid that’s a reflection on you, and not the police.

State sponsored murder is not the answer.

If the state undertakes the most violent act imaginable unto it’s citizens, why would it expect it’s citizens to be passive within the society the state has fostered?

A civilisation can be judged on how they treat their prisoners............Captain Picard,
I think!

Although it may have appeared in a TV script it was actually coined by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Russian novelist, short story writer, essayist, journalist and philosopher, 1821-1881.

With a standing army and the national guard, why does the US still need a militia? After all, that was the main reason for the 2nd amendment.
