Re: Rate the last movie you saw
I just got back from seeing Skyfall with Natalie.
I also just tried out the new audio description thingy. Very smart.

6 Bullets - It wasn't that bad, very predicable, but nonetheless I enjoyed it. 5/10

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Prometheus - meh..... 6/10
Battleship - pretty much as expected... probably would have been better on a big screen - 4/10
The Amazing Spiderman - enjoyed the other films more - found Peter Parker quite annoying. 5/10
American Pie - Reunion - very funny 9/10

I put star quotes just for that reason & you forgot to mention Honour Blackman & Richard Briers, stars in our lifetime even if they are a little long in the tooth.
I don't think it was meant to be taken with any seriousness & from the onset was done as a fun film.
As for the special effects, a British film done on a budget & most definitely not a multi million $ Hollywood spectacular so IMO credit where credit is due, a fun film worth a watch.

I liked it to, 6.5 out of ten from me

Skyfall 8/10
Fantastic movie and a really great Bond film with some great nods to the classics.
However I wouldn't say it is the best 007 movie there is. Seemed more personal and more about M than it was about Bond.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
I'd have to agree. It's a good film, though; I treated myself to an early birthday present - plus my weekly train ticket was still valid, so I thought I'd get something out of it.
The only disappointment was that Silva had nothing to do with Quantum, which I was really hoping they'd follow up on. Or have they lived up to their name and vanished like virtual particles?
I'm not sure how many of the audience appreciated the significance of one particular moment, though Bond fans surely would: the unveiling of Bond's classic Aston Martin. Priceless!
I was impressed by Skyfall, primarily because they found a way of modernising Bond, and yet going back to the basics. The old favourites - M, Q, Moneypenny - are back, albeit considerably younger than before...especially Q, who rather reminded me of Richard Ayoade in more ways than one.

Took Peter to see Madagascar 3 - which he liked. I haven't seen the other two though.

Back from Bond OMFG, what a excellent film. 9.9/10
The audience gasped when he open the garage to reveal the DB5

Total Recall (2012) / I didn't think I'd like it, but it was fairly good. 6/10

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Skyfall - 9/10
Really good. Bringing back a lot of traditional stuff, but a shame that it couldn't have continued with the Quantum organisation as the villian.
