Caller Display really available?

hi All.
I'm an ex VM/ntl/C&W customer and I am thinking of returning.
However, when with VM before (up to late 2009) Caller Display was not available on my exchange and if I were to move back and this was still the case the my other half would make my life hell!

I rang the sales number today and after a postcode and house number check was told "Yes" it is available.

I am not being sceptical but it was a Sales number I rang...

Does anyone on here have access to a definitve list of exchanges where this is 100% definately available?

For info my postcode starts with RM11 - Hornchurch.

If anyone can help that would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Re: Caller Display really available?

I am pretty convinced it it not available. Most RM postcodes would be on Ilford switch where caller ID is not available. This is an old Bell Cable Media area where caller ID has never been available. If you have full postcode I can double check for you

Re: Caller Display really available?

I checked earlier today before I said anything.

It has been activated as part of the plan to make all areas Caller Display enabled by the end of this year
