RIP Aretha Franklin
Aretha Franklin, the "Queen of Soul" who became the first woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has died in Detroit at the age of 76.

One of the greatest singers we have ever heard as she truly was the Queen of Soul.

The great thing about legends is that they never truly die.

Re: RIP Aretha Franklin
Used to love listening to her when whizzing along in my old MGBGT. An open road, Aretha Franklin and Lady of Soul belting out of my trusty stereo cassette player .... bliss.
RIP you lovely woman, memories of your singing take me back to happy times.

So sad - one of the all time greats - she'll be sorely missed, no-one since has come anywhere near
