I mean the woke content, which, yes, is disagreeable to me.

Have you got any examples of this “woke” content?

Any chance we could gently nudge the conversation back towards the 360? Please.

This is widely commented on in other forums and it is pretty well known. I guess if you can't see it, that may be an indication that you are woke yourself, and therefore it does not trouble you.
For example, in the drama production industry, actors are chosen on the basis of their ability and getting a resemblance to the characters they are playing. Lately, the Beeb and some others have abandoned that principle and now actively work towards getting black actors playing white historical figures (but not the other way round), straight characters being portrayed as gay (again, but not the other way round), etc, etc.
Everywhere, we see men obssessing about being included in the raising of children borne of broken relationships while the woman was still pregnant - as if that was the norm - when we all know that this is the exception. Sadly, the simple truth is that most young men would run a mile in that situation if they could get away from any responsibility for maintenance or upbringing.
The BBC is on a mission to change attitudes, but the clumsy, blatant way they are doing it is turning a lot of people off the broadcaster completely.
Of course, it goes without saying that other opinions are available.

Re: TV360
Back to the 360 as l press subtitles for a programme on one box and yet the subtitles come up on the other TV through the 2nd box as well.
Anybody else had this problem.

Exactly.
I have two V6 boxes which work well and have been flawless since they were installed some time ago. Yes, the UI is a bit dated and clunky but it works and I'll stick with them until there is no option but to update or replace with 360 boxes. If at that time Virgin Media becomes even more expensive then I will seriously consider Sky Stream.

Is it linking subtitles to the “profile” and not the box?

If it’s pricing that’s a problem for you, Virgin Stream is cheaper.

Re: TV360
Since you can only get 1 stream box it seems it wouldn’t be fit for purpose?
I’m not entirely convinced it’s cheaper either. It might (I’ve not tallied any up) be cheaper than the “post offer” price nobody pays but it’s likely not cheaper than the retention deals around.

Yes, you have a point in your first paragraph.
On your second point, it is cheaper because there is just the one-off charge. After that, it’s free and you just pay for the streamers you watch, assuming that you want to watch subscription streamers.

Has software update 5.08 updated Dolby Audio in any way?

The latest version of the 360 software is 5.09 on my boxes, updated a little over a week ago. I have Dolby Audio via my soundbar although what 'flavour' of Dolby - assuming there are different types of Dolby sound - I can't say. On my set-up it sounds very good.
