I remember that. Wonder what Redknapp said to him in private!

I saw him interviewed and he seemed to take it well, but you just know old Paulo was doing extra running in training

I didn't miss the question mark - You asked that but then straight after, presented to me what you thought, was my way of thinking, that being, that you assume, I am using Ronaldo as a scapegoat for England's defeat. You made an incorrect assumption about what I am thinking, whether you asked it or stated it, you still made an assumption.
You can't expect me to hold a serious debate with you when you are coming out with assumptions, about what you think I am thinking, when I haven't even posted such thoughts or relayed such views about what I think is the reason, England was defeated.
Just because I am being critical about Ronaldo, doesn't mean I am using this as a scapegoat or excuse for England's early departure from this years World Cup.

Fair enough.
So why is it a silly question?

Why Ronaldo is being singled out and noone else?
TheDaddy summed it up accurately....

Re: [Merged] Ronaldo
So cheating is ok as long as you don't make a habit of it?
Btw that is a question. I do not and have not at any time assumed that this is your thinking.

There you go again - You are assuming again by asking such questions I never said cheating is okay did I?
Cheating is definately not okay. You asked me why Ronaldo is being singled out, well because, he has earned quite a reputation for being a 'cry wolf' probably more than any other player.

Re: [Merged] Ronaldo
It was interesting to see the reception Ronaldo was getting during the France v Portugal game... and the vast majority of those vocal spectators weren't even English, so I don't think the reason they were being so vociferous was because they wanted Ronaldo to be the scapegoat for England's exit from the competition.

Re: [Merged] Ronaldo
The only thing that surprises me is that it's taken people so long to realise what a cheating ******* plastic Ronaldo is, we've known this at Anfield for ages. His antics in the FA Cup game last season (which we won) were nothing short of disgusting.

As disgusting as Gerrard's antics against Bolton? Or do they not count?
