Any sign of Dolby Atmos yet?

Dolby Atmos is supported but currently it's only on BT Sport 4K.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
5.1 isn't available on iPlayer on any device. BBC did say why but I can't currently find their answer.

"The audio will be stereo AAC-LC at 192 kbit/s. Whilst we would like to provide multi-channel sound we have found a number of issues with receivers which are difficult to work-around. We will continue to explore solutions for future events"

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Given the thinner the TV gets the worse the speakers get they probably think there's less point and allocate the majority of the channel data to picture quality.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
We use the main speakers for the upper range but a 100W sub-woofer gives the bass.

Thanks for that.
There is more Dolby 5.1 content now, due the BBC recording in 4K.

Most people just go for the easiest option.
I'm perfectly content with the TV speakers, even though they annoy me occasionally.
