Think Broadband results

Hi all

I have just created a Think Broadband profile and have no idea how to interpret the results (even having read their website)... I THINK the below is a fairly standard graph with a Superhub 3 and VM but would appreciate any advice/insights...

Re: Think Broadband results

Thanks. I had read that and the most similar graph to mine is the one where they talk about someone hosting a small server... I don't have anything like that on my network... it's just a standard set up. So, am wondering why there are yellow spikes in the wee small hours when we're asleep!

A very normal VM graph using the Hub3 with the latest trial firmware, if you had been on the regular firmware most likely the yellow would nearly fill your graph.

Your graph looks good!

There's not much to say about it. The green bit should always stay pretty consistent and low at all times. The odd blip isn't uncommon but if you see lots of them, there's a big issue.

The blue part is similar - while the green should be pretty flat, you'll see a tiny bit of variance on the blue. This is your "jitter" and measures how inconsistent your connection is, but for the likes of downloading and streaming makes no difference, it's more a problem for online gaming. Yours looks great!

The yellow will see more spikes than anything else and yours is largely fine. If you see a lot of yellow, you'll see your blue getting worse as well.

Red is bad. Any red is bad.

Re: Think Broadband results

2200-0800 is a bit of a specific time interval. Sounds like they were doing network upgrades out of hours.

Did you power down your hub during those hours? If so the blocks of red are normal.
