The matey voting is always going to be a feature of the competition. It always has been, and not just from the east. The UK and Ireland have had more than their fair share of winners in the past, despite all that. I can't speak for Ireland (I missed their entry this year), but the reason we did so badly this year was that the song and the performer were both gash. Pure and simple.

Ireland won 7 times UK 5 times, thats quite alot.

Without clicking the link ... I'm going to hazard a guess that it's a song about a horse.

5op. They will be trying to give it away for nothing with the Irish one and bets will be placed to see which one is gone first

Re: Eurovision Song Contest 2010
Just caught up with the scores, how dissapointing is that 10 points LMAO Eurovision song contest has been for quite a while a political pals voting forum, never the less even if the UK were boosom buddies with all of europe with a song like that we would still come last.
I wonder how Sir Webber is feeling this morning after all those nil points I dont thik he will be stepping up to the plate to write next years.
I wonder what the cost is to the license fee payer for this really crap, boring old pals program to be broadcast to the UK (including Nortons pay packet)

He didn't write this year's either!
This year's crappy entry was written by Pete Waterman, Mike Stock & Steve Crosby.
