Early days yet before they have to make a decision Jim.

And the last United manager to win 8 on the trot was none other than Jose, a long way to go yet, Oles' not exactly going to throw his dummy out before the end of the season.

The Wombles from Wimbledon can play a bit !
Tbh the FA cup isn't been my taken seriously by some of the 'big' clubs. Maybe they should reserve a Champions League place for the winner? Maybe they'd take it more seriously then and give the hope to some of the smallest non-league clubs that they could potentially be in the Champions League next year !

West Ham have been pretty shocking though as you would get better defending from a local Sunday league side IMO.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Ole shouldn't get the job. Man United are capable of so much more. All he's done is take the muzzle off the team that Jose put on. I don't think he's a leader as such. Just a bloke that's given them the freedom to play how they want. Is it a bad thing? Definitely not. Imagine is someone else can get this out of them and then some.
Overall I'm sure he's a welcome temporary fix but there's someone out there that can improve upon this and make them formidable.

8 wins out of 8?? That's more than beginners luck, I'd hang on to him.

And the last United manager to win eight on the bounce was none other than Jose in 2017. Still far to early to give Ole the job and I am not alone in thinking that Mike Phelan has been a major factor in Uniteds revival. Who knows what could have been if Moyes hadn’t stupidly got rid of Phelan as soon as he got the managers job.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Graeme Souness won 8 out of 10 and drew the other two in his first 10 at Newcastle. Newcastle went on to win 11 games in total.

And if he loses two or three in a row the fair weather supporters will be on his back straight away.

Re: Season 2018/2019
I'm not sure they will. I think they'd rather lose playing on the front foot than lose whilst piling their own box with players. As already said, they've got the players and Ole has given them the freedom to play. All they need now is a Guardiola to mould them into a formidable force.

Re: Season 2018/2019
It was definitely a case of The good, the bad and the ugly for Oldham Athletics veteran Peter Clarke yesterday. The 37 year old made a fantastic goal line clearance, then deflected the ball to give Doncaster the lead. Then he scored the equaliser but then conceded a very iffy handball decision to give away the winning penalty. And then he got sent off deep into injury time.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Newcastle cancelled a deal for Lazio's Jordan Lukaku yesterday under an excuse of failed medical. Only to then pursue the Monaco LB that Lazio had opted for to replace him.

Re: Season 2018/2019
Another easy draw for United.
Have to say the pitch at Barnet looks excellent.

Re: Season 2018/2019
United will need all of their resources with the Chelsea cup tie sandwiched between games against PSG and Liverpool.
