Hi, I have a door at work that I'd like to fit a door closer to. The only problem is, the door is hollow and the 'wood' is only 2mm thick. Can anyone suggest fixings that would work? The screws for the door opener are pretty thick.

Sounds like he already has the door closer equipment.
Thunderpants, there are lots of fixings for hollow cavities, including hollow doors, on the market. You have to choose the ones that best fit the screws you have to use with the door closer.
Google “hollow door fixings” and take it from there.

Hehe SHE does already have the door closer. I did fit it with fixings for hollow doors, but the smallest thickness of door I could find them for was 1/8", but they soon pulled loose.

My apologies for assuming only a man would have thunderous pants
Another thing you might try (might look a bit ugly though) would be to drill right through the door and use nuts and bolts to hold the closer in place. You would have to put some kind of metal plate on the other side of the door or use decent size repair washers. You can also use a hacksaw to ensure your bolts look neat in situ.
