Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

It's alright as I am on Orange now with 300/600/1,000 free texts depending on how much I top up.

Got 600 this month!

No free minutes though

Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

Ok Im confused...when you guys say can you get two SIMs...are you talking getting two identical sims with same phone number or two different ones with different phone numbers? I cant understand why virgin would let you have this deal twice for only £10 per month? Can someone clarify what you mean as Im confused - sorry!

EDIT: So to clarify do I get number 1 below or number 2:

1:
Sim with mobile number 07777 567890
Sim with mobile number 07777 123456
For £10 per month?

2:
Sim with mobile number 07777 567890
Sim with mobile number 07777 567890
For £10 per month?

Also do I get a free phone with it as someone above said something bout a free phone.

Thanks

sniper007, no free phone comes with the £10 deal, but the service is brilliant. The best part of this VM package. Buy it you wont be disapponited.

Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

You can buy a phone at the PAYG rates on the web or from a Virgin Megastore. Any unused minutes and text messages are rolled over to the following month which means you can (as I do) have a maximum each month of 600 mins and 600 text messages.

Oh yes - and migrating from another phone provider to VM is a piece of cake too.

Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

Just to confirm, if I am on VIP at £85/ month I can have a sim with 300mins and 300 text for an additional £10 and the same again for my wife for another £10 =£105/month.
They don't mention this seemingly great deasl in the VIP adverts !

Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

you can get the offer twice i.e. 2 different numbers @ £10 each = £20 a month

i signed up to this offer when it first started back in october (i think) and they were giving free Lobster 575's or Nokia 1111 (i think) but not any more as stocks have run out

its an amazing offer for me, because any unused mins and texts leftover at the end of the month roll over to the next months allowance for £10 and its a simple £10 by direct debt . i'd be amazed if anyone network can beat that. i've seen alot of these cashback deals ..but come with abit of hassle

Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

Your right about the cashback deals. My wifes current contact was cashback but you had to submit each batch of 4 months receipts within 14 days of the date. We missed the first one by a few days and are no longer eligable for any of the cashback. As soon as this contract is over I will switch to this deal. I don't use the mobile much myself but for less than what she pays now we can both have more minutes than she currently gets.

Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

ye alot of people get lured into these, what appear to be slash price cashback deals, but then often miss the deadlines for bills and thats where they make alot of their profit i guess. My virgin mobile bills and mobile account can be handled online which is very useful.

£10 a month - 300mins + 300 txts and anything leftover that rolls over is fantastic.

I moved from O2 pay as you go where i was paying £10 for just the 300txts

Re: £10 300 texts 300 minutes

I dumped my landline in favour of the Virgin Mobile offer
I then transferred my number over from TESCO mobile (O2) to Virgin Mobile, all this was completed within 14 days
TESCO mobile couldn't give me the PAC code over the phone, but it arrived in the post the following day

I also have a XDA on orange (PAYG) using the credit on this phone for GPRS (orange extra) 16MB for £4
Sadly, the rate for Virgin mobile GPRS doesn't compare, otherwise I would have also dumped orange, and then only need one mobile phone!

Browsing the site, i am reading it as international communicatios will cost extra. The package only includes national comms.
