Window 10 Task Manager disc usage 100%

Hi all

My PC is really slow and basically unusable.

Check task manager which shows

CPU usage 68%
Memory 97%
Disk 100%

See picture attached (this happened when I was trying to open word)

I am obviously really struggling and would be grateful of any ideas or comments on a possible fix

Many thanks for your help and time

Regards

Mike

Re: Window 10 Task Manager disc usage 100%

This is because your computer is paging because you are using too much memory (it's 97%!), You need to find and stop whatever is using so much memory or install more memory.

Re: Window 10 Task Manager disc usage 100%

I'd just like to second DQ1's advice.

Having said that, at work, we use Microsoft's System Center Configuration Manager to manage our machines. Even though every machine has at least 16 Gig of RAM, SCCM can still use 100% of the disk bandwidth for several hours when it is first set up.
