Replacement sim
I got a replacement sim last Tuesday, this evening my phone was showing "No Sim". I tried another sim and it worked. So I phoned CS and with out asking any question said they'd send me another but it would cost me £2.99 for postage, I asked why as the sim was only a week old and it was faulty. I was asked to hold on and a few minutes later I was told I would not be charged but would not get it till Thursday.
Now I know the they charge £2.99 for next day delivery have I just ben fobbed off with just the normal postage? The conversation with CS was about 8PM is this too late for next day?

Re: Replacement sim
Well, yes. There isn't a postal collection this late in the evening. Your new SIM will be collected tomorrow and delivered the next day, which is Thursday.

Re: Replacement sim
I forgot to say I was told it would not have to be signed for which makes me think it will be normal post not Yodal.

Re: Replacement sim
Not necessarily. It's pretty hard to guarantee next day even with first class post these days. There are basic courier options that don't require a signature. They could easily use one of those.

Most of those are economy 2-5 day services.

Re: Replacement sim
So, you reported your new SIM faulty at 8pm Tuesday evening, and the new one arrived today, Wednesday?
That's seriously impressive. Who delivered it?
